Miguel Ochoa takes 3rd at OBX Morey Pro!

After a huge performance in making the semi-finals of this year’s NYBB Men’s Pro division, local Long Beach ripper Miguel Ochoa put up yet another strong showing during the Morey Pro-Am contest in the Outer Banks, N.C. this past Sunday, taking home 3rd place in the Open Pro division. Ochoa also won first place in the first annual NYBB Pro Amateur Event in ‘05. Having recently gone pro, Miguel is one of New York’s most talented up and coming bodyboarders, so be sure to look for big things from him in the years to come. Congrats Ocho! Chris Monroe (CA) took 1st place, Dan Worley (FL) 2nd, and in the DK division, Devin Ricke (FL) 1, Ryan Rhodes (NC) 2, Mike Ziener (VA) 3, Billy Anderson 4.
